A young prince must quickly learn to face adulthood when his father’s ghost urges him to avenge his untimely death. Hamlet must navigate the dark waters of his own grief and the treacherous landscape of a corrupt state to expose his father’s murderer. In an attempt to gain time while investigating the goings on of the Castle Elsinore, the prince feigns madness. Caught in the chaos is Ophelia who, deeply in love with Hamlet, must choose between him and loyalty to her father. To heighten the tension, down every dark corridor spying ears prepare to expose the secrets of the royal family. One hour before the main performance begins enjoy the FREE Green Show, a condensed and lively version of the night's upcoming show, performed by our apprentice company. The Green Show takes place on the lawn in front of West High Auditorium- bring a blanket to sit on for comfort. This is a great time to have a picnic and catch some entertainment. The Green Show is always free and open to the public.
