Front of house positions at the Riverside Festival Stage are available for Riverside Theatre in the Park this June and July. These are paid positions. Concessions Assistant

  • Assist with set-up of concessions items before performance and stocking necessary items if needed.
  • Assist Concession Manager with assessing and maintaining necessary inventory supplies of all food/drink items for sale to patrons.
  • Operate cash register and/or merchandise cash box (if merchandise to be sold) at Festival Stage box office before performance begins and at Intermission.
  • Responsible for reconciling cash register total and giving paperwork to Concession Manager.
  • Assist with re-stocking all concession supplies, if necessary, and for clean-up of concession area including mopping floor, if necessary.

 

Concessions Manager
Average of 22 hours per week/no more than 30 in one week.

  • Responsible for assessing and maintaining necessary inventory supplies of all food/drink items for sale to patrons.
  • Responsible for communicating to Concession Vendors item(s) to be ordered.
  • Responsible for communicating any other vendor items needed (beer, wine, water etc) to Patron Services Manager
  • Responsible for set-up of 2 cash registers and merchandise cash box (if merchandise to be sold) at Festival Stage box office.
  • Responsible for supervising cashiers at Festival Stage Box Office.
  • Responsible for supervising concession assistants and assigned Acting Apprentices at Festival Stage Box Office.
  • Responsible for reconciling cash register totals at end of each performance, collecting paperwork and giving all paperwork to Festival Stage Box Office Manager. 


House Manager
Average of 22 hrs/per week.  No more than 30 hours in one week.

Responsibilities at the Festival Stage in City Park:

  • House Manage all productions including Willpower performances
  • Coordinate and train the volunteer usher group
  • Produce performance reports on performance dates for the artistic director and stage manager.
  • Ensure the Festival Stage seating area is clean & welcoming for patrons.
  • Work with Festival Stage Box Office Manager on any seating concerns including group sales.
